1 Make guaranteed there's enough place to accommodate the UV lamp.

Pick a location along the side of your heating and air conditioning (HVAC) to install your germicidal UV lamp. Select cellulite a place that can accommodate the mounting plate on the conclusion regarding the lamp and the duration of the lamp on the inside of the HVAC unit. Use a measuring tape, beforehand, to measure the length about the lamp.

2 Lower a 2-inch hole in the side of the heating duct with some hole saw. This allows you to slide the UV light piece about the lamp through the hole and inside the HVAC unit. Before inserting the light, clean it with a clean cloth and glass cleaner to remove fingerprints.

3 Choose the appropriate screwdriver to secure the screws.

Protected the mounting plate to the outside of the duct using sheet metal screws. Tighten the screws by means of some screwdriver.

Tips & Warnings

Many germicidal UV lamps can be installed on the return air side of the furnace or provide air side.

You must need 24VAC power on your HVAC system within purchase to install and use a germicidal UV lamp.

Unplug the UV lamp before servicing as the UV soft may cause damage to your skin and eyes.
